Last weekend Baby Aric and I headed to Pier 92 in NYC for the New York Baby Show where new and expecting parents came to connect with over 150 maternity, baby, and toddler brands! Moms and dads found the best in baby brands, gear, and entertainment at the show! The show also gave parents the opportunity listen to expert speakers, take classes and more. If you are a new or event experienced parent, this is a show for you!
The New York Baby Show had some fantastic sponsors this year including Cannon who had point and shoot and DSLR cameras on site for parents to explore and get a feel for. The cannon team was also offering tips and tripsfor capturing family memories. Other sponsors included New York Family, Triple Paste, Lansinoh, FitBump and the NYC Dads Group with the charity partner being March of Dimes.
We had a great time in the Momtrends Lounge where bloggers had the opportunity to get pampered by some wonderful ladies of GlamSquad. GamSquad is an app where you can book professional and affordable beauty services to your home or office. I was thrilled with how my hair, nails and makeup turned out!
After getting glammed up, I made sure to take a red carpet worthy photo with Aric.
While in the lounge, I had the opportunity to check out some great products and services. One of those products included Mabel’s Labels who provided bloggers in attendance with our own personalized labels! These labels are great for your child’s clothing and belongings and perfect for when sending your kids off to daycare, school or camp! I also got to explore Net Nanny, an internet safety solution that helps parents protect their children and monitor their internet use. If you have children who have access to the internet, this is a must have!
If I would have brought E with us, I would have totally taken advantage of The Nanny League who were offering their childcare services. The children who were in the play area looked like they were having a wonderful time and were clearly in great hands!
While on the show floor, there were quite a few products and gear that stood out for me, one of those being HatchThings SURESHOP reusable shopping bag that won’t let your stroller fall over and was designed as a non-tip umbrella stroller bag. The bag is so easy to use and very convenient!
I’m excited to give Evenflo Feeding’s Tilty Cup a try when baby Aric is old enough to use it. What’s great about the Tilty Cup is that it has a internal angled wall that eliminates the need for an extreme head tilt while drinking. The cup promotes a smooth transition and introduction to cup.
I’m was really interested in toys for baby Aric since he’s getting to that age where he can grasp and hold on to things. Tiny Love and Haba have you covered with age appropriate toys and more. Not sure what’s appropriate for your baby? Please and Carrots offer a subscription box service that brings the most developmentally appropriate toys and books for baby right to your doorstep!
I have a soft spot for Chicco products since both E and Aric came home from the hospital in their own bucket car seats so I made sure to stop by their booth to see what’s new in the world of Chicco car seats and gear.
Shout out to Primary, a children’s clothing who offers vibrant, beautiful, soft cotton basics with nothing over $25! We walked away with a super soft onesie for Aric to try.
I went home with a ton of goodies from some wonderful New York Baby Show Sponsors and I can’t wait to try them all! I’m really looking forward to using these BiteSizers which are portable food scissors which make cutting up your little one’s food quick and easy!
I’m definitely looking forward to next years Baby Show! A HUGE Thanks to Momtrends and the New York Baby Show as well as the wonderful brands who sponsored the event!
