If you are looking for fun family games and toys for gifting this holiday season, Hasbro has you covered! Below you will find something age appropriate for everyone in your household.
Sesame Street Let’s Imagine Elmo
Sesame Street Let’s Imagine Elmo helps to make your child’s imagination come alive! This fantastic interactive toy is simple to use and will bring your child hours of enjoyment. Elmo uses his imagination, along with 3 hats that are also included, to play the role of a king, sea captain, and a cowboy.
This toy promotes counting to 20 and features 4 interactive play modes. Elmo loves to be bounced, tickled and when you squeeze his nose, it honks! Elmo also teaches your child how to identify sounds of the sea.
Sesame Street Let’s Imagine Elmo is recommended for children between the ages of 2+ and in my opinion is a neat learning aid as well as an interactive toy! Let’s Imagine Elmo will make a great gift for any Elmo fan this holiday season!
The Play-Doh Sweet Shoppe Cake Mountain Playset brings out creativity in your child and features the Play-Doh modelling compound that we all know and love in addition to Play-Doh Plus, a softer compound!
Children will be able to create beautiful make-believe cakes with the Cake Mountain playset. With the set, little ones can make 3 tiered cakes, cake pops, and much more with this creative cake playset. The set comes with 3 different cake molds, 4 containers of Play-Doh compound, 1 container of Play-Doh Plus, plates, knives and forks for serving the cake to your guests. The set also includes a base, bottom cake tier, cake machine, cake stand, textured roller, an extruder, and 6 sticks! It’s 2 fun playsets in 1!
Olaf’s in Trouble game
If you like classic games that are fun and teach number recognition, then Olaf’s in Trouble game is will make a perfect gift for your child! It’s based on the classic Trouble game, but has been updated with you favorite Disney Frozen characters including Olaf, A charachter familiar to children of all ages!
Children love to role play and they have the opportunity to do just that with the Olaf’s in Trouble game. Each player chooses which Disney character from Frozen that they wish to be: Anna, Elsa, Kristoff or Sven. As they press the pop-o-matic bubble to roll the die, players move the amount of spaces as designated by the die.
The object of the game is to venture around Arendelle attempting to save Olaf. You better keep your eyes open wide for the avalanche! Game board, 16 pegs, label sheet, and the pop-o-matic die roller is included with this game.
Since receiving this game, it has become one of E’s (age 3) favorites! So, although the game is recommended for 5+, my 3-year-old still understands the concept. It’s a fun game to play as a family!
My Monopoly Game
My Monopoly Game is slightly different than the classic game that we all are familiar with and have come to love. The is based on the same principles, however, it is fully customizable and can be personalized!
Players have the opportunity to upload their own photos from your computer, social media, iPhone, or from other internet enabled devices to create the characters or game players. You can download the mymonopoly app or visit mymonopoly.com to do this step.
Other personalization includes the ability to personalize game cards, tokens, Community Chest and Chance cards. You can add captions and descriptions to the characters and print them out onto the My Monopoly sticker sheets then start to play your customized and personal My Monopoly game. I had the opportunity to experience the game a few months back at an event and to my surprise, there was a game card with E and I on it! Check it out below!
My Monopoly is a fun take on a classic game and a great way to bond during family time!
