Lauren’s Hope Love Medical ID Cuff {Review & #Giveaway}

In July 2010, I decided to have weight loss surgery performed and as I was going through the process I was told I should look into getting a medical alert bracelet or necklace, that way if anything were to ever happen emergency responders would know there are certain things I can have and can not have as well as certain treatments that can not be used on me. I never thought about this much to be honest until recently.

I went searching for a medical alert bracelet and to be honest I didn’t like anything they had on the market around me, they were all so plain and ugly looking in my opinion, then I came across a great website known as Lauren’s Hope. This site has hundreds of options, they really have something for everyone! Whether you want a plain jane bracelet or necklace or if you are more like me and prefer something that doesn’t scream “MEDICAL ALERT JEWELRY” I am sure you will find what you are looking for on this site.

Lauren’s Hope was generous enough to send me their newest addition the “love cuff.” Here is the website’s description of this beautiful bracelet.

The Love Cuff makes us think of love letters and sweet nothings, hand holding and special family moments. Covered in embossed hearts, XO hugs and kisses, and the simple word, “LOVE,” in varied prints and scripts, the Love Cuff is wearable love note you can give as a reminder to the one you adore and a special medical ID bracelet that will remind you of how very much you’re loved.

The Love medical alert bracelet is a stainless steel cuff with the internationally recognized red medical caduceus symbol at either end. This waterproof medical ID bracelet is 1/2″ wide and adjusts easily to fit most women with wrists measuring 6 to 9 inches. Custom engrave your Love medical ID cuff with up to three lines of your personal medical information, including up to 25 characters per line.

All of our waterproof, stainless steel medical alert cuffs are easy to put on, take off, and adjust! Simply pull gently to widen and squeeze gently to tighten. The adjustability makes them outstanding options for people who experience weight fluctuations, those who’ve had weight loss surgery, and people who have swelling of the extremities. These comfortable medical ID bracelets are designed to sit flush against the skin, just above the bony part of the wrist, making them a great option for people who type a lot and those who need to wear gloves and/or wash hands frequently.

This cuff is very comfortable to wear, I have yet to remove it since it arrived at my door. I am able to wear it without fear of it snagging on anything or hurting my new baby when it brushes against him, in fact I had to remove my wedding rings due to them scratching my newborn but this cuff is so smooth and fits so well I don’t have any worries.

I have worn this cuff like I said 24/7 since it arrived and it has been through showers and dishes and even work and still is perfect no dents or bending, no coloring my skin, it looks like I just pulled it out of it’s pretty velour pouch! I couldn’t be happier!

Ever since I began wearing my new Love Cuff I have had so many people ask me about it and the best part is it doesn’t scream “Medical Alert Jewelry” which means I am not defined by my medical alert bracelet, instead I have people who want to order one even though they don’t need a medical alert bracelet, which I am sure would be no problem to order one you can customize your engraving, and if you don’t have a medical need for the bracelet you could always put a person to contact in case of an emergency as well. I like the children’s options, it would be a great ID for your kids in case they would wander away and get lost or if an emergency would arise and you were not around that way the emergency responders would know who to contact.

As you can see these pieces are not just for those with a medical condition they can be worn by everyone men, women and children alike! Go and check out their website and see all the options there are!
