A recent consumer survey conducted by Mamas & Papas revealed that 49% of parents with children under the age of five are not extremely satisfied with their current stroller. That’s 1 in 2 parents! I found the findings quite suprising but in reality, I was one of those parents who wasn’t satisfied with my stroller. According to the survey, more than 21 percent have purchased three or more strollers for just one child. We actually own two strollers for one child and at one point, owned three! The infographic below features more survey findings.
Here are some other survey findings that you might find interesting:
- More than 1 in 10 (13%), have had to ask a stranger to help them fold a stroller
- Of those 63%, 39% would do twice as many chores for a month, 36% would carry a diaper bag twice as heavy as their own, 34% would run errands for twice as long as normal for 6 months
- More than 2 in 3 (68%) feel it’s better to have a secondary stroller than to have a single stroller for everything
As I’ve mentioned on this blog before, Mamas & Papas recently introduced the Armadillo stroller which features a one-handed close and easy open! It has a big seat with a full recline and is a huge step toward giving parents what they are looking for in a stroller. The stroller’s compact and freestanding fold allows parents to store it in tight spaces, including small trunks (like my Chevy Cavalier!). Visit the Mamas & Papas website to learn more about the Armadillo Stroller!
